Want to rent?



If you are interested in renting, feel free to email me with any questions (kelly.livingston@gmail.com).  Also you can text or call me at 404.226.2933.  We will not be showing the home in person until September unless we have someone seriously ready to complete an application and contract before then, with deposits paid.  This is out of courtesy to our current renters.   Please enjoy an abundance of pictures and home information under the pages tab to your left, as well as a copy of the rental contract and accompanying documents.

Please read our page on utilities.  We are willing to work with you and what is easiest for you.  Previously we paid the utilities ourselves and billed our renter along with the monthly rent.  In this way, no one has to pay a transfer fee to transfer utilities from Landlord-Tenant-Landlord.  Dekalb Water is very difficult to transfer regardless of any fees so this will always be billed by the landlord postdate. If there is any overlap during rental dates we will prorate based on days of usage.

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to 3192 Clairwood Terrace.

  


Before we moved next door, we lived in this home with our 3 sons (yes, 5 people in a 2/1 and we loved it!)  We loved it so much we just couldn't let it go so we've held on to it as a rental property.

We currently have a wonderful family renting with 2 young daughters and their small puppy.  They are expecting to be back in their newly renovated Ashford Park home mid October 2015.  We are actively seeking new renters to fill the vacancy around this time mid-October-early November.  We would love to have someone for a 1 year contract but are flexible with a month-to-month contract as well (6 month minimum).

We have a small neighborhood and we (the owners) actually moved just next door to the home at 3196.   We would love to have someone who would be a great fit for our neighborhood.  We have lots of young renters who have been here for years, as well as established home owners.  Everyone gets along and keeps an eye out for each other!  Ashford park is a wonderful neighborhood and has a great school system (Ashford Park elementary, Chamblee Middle School, Chamblee High School).

We are also right on the border of Brookhaven and all of its amenities.  We are walking distance to the Peachtree Dekalb Airport (small playground and viewing area, The Downwind restaurant, 57th Fighter's restaurant).  We are also across the street from the Chamblee Public Library.  Au Rendezvous (a lovely French restaurant) is at the end of our street, on Clairmont road!.  We are within just a few miles of the great shops and restaurants on Dresden (Valenza, Haven, Verde, The One Sushi, Kaleidoscope), downtown Chamblee (Southbound, Union Hill, Vintage Pizza, Frosty Caboose), Town Brookhaven (Costco, Publix, Cinebistro, etc.) Ashford Dunwoody/Johnson ferry crossing restaurants (PURE taqueria, Bat&Ball pub, Hovan Greek gourmet, Sushi Yoshino, Moon Indian, Corner Pizza). Not to mention the plethora of ethnic opportunities Buford highway has to offer!

We are also within 3 miles of Lowes, Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Costco, Walgreens and CVS.

There are great parks in our area - Ashford Park, Clairmont Park, PDK park, Keswick Park, Murphy Candler Park, Blackburn park.  Just to name a few!

The house is less than 4 miles from Northside, Emory/St. Joseph's, and Scottish Rite Children's Hospital.

Get your shopping on at Perimeter, Phipps, or Lenox malls.

Several gyms nearby (Planet fitness, LA fitness, Adrenaline fitness, several yoga studios, crossfit in downtown chamblee, etc)

Conveniently located inside the perimeter but close enough to I-285, I-85, GA-400 access. And we are less than a mile from the Chamblee Marta station - super helpful during those pesky winter snow storms!  Also we rarely lose power since we are on the Marta grid!

So much to offer - whether you are a young professional who wants to be in the city, a small family who wants the great community and schools Ashford Park has to offer, or someone who just loves cottage living and a beautiful backyard full of beautiful flowers and vegetation year round!
